Protecting Little Ears

If you know us, you know a couple of things. One, we LOVE our Ontario Reign Hockey games (We are season ticket holders) and Two, we enjoy off-roading, camping,  and recreational trips to the gun range.

When Baby Wagon came along, we were not sure how we could do any of these without damaging her developing hearing. We didn’t really see leaving her behind as an option, so finding something safe for her became a priority.

Enter some old friends, who also enjoy hockey games and felt the same way we did about leaving their little one home. They had inherited a bunch of baby gear from an older sibling, including a pair of Em’s 4 Bubs Hearing Protection Baby Earmuffs.

What? Hearing protection for kids that age?

Yes! Why hadn’t we thought about that? To Amazon we went. We ended up with the Pro Fo Show Baby Ear Muffs

They looked a little more comfortable and had a lower price point. The ones with the elastic band seemed to be falling down into the little one’s eyes a lot, and we liked the solid construction of the Pro Earmuffs better.

They work well for the Hockey games, which can get really loud. She is even able to nap when she gets a bit tired.

They were a little large at first but that didn’t seem to phase her in the slightest, and shes growing into them. We love not having to leave her at home, and being able to enjoy stuff like this as a family.
