I have spent my whole life camping and traveling with my family. My parents like to joke that I rode in my mom's backpack while they hiked across the Sierras when I was about 6 weeks old. I grew up off-roading in the back seat of my dads' 63 Jeep CJ5. They instilled a strong sense of adventure and love of the outdoors at a very young age that I hope to pass on to our daughter.

My particular HR person at work is very good but still is not legally allowed to tell me what options I SHOULD choose, or even what would most benefit me, only what options there are available. Unfortunately, even she gets confused wading through the company benefits, VS the California state options VS the federal options sometimes. Especially since our home office is across the country from where I am located, and laws are different in many states.

 I’m Sorry.

If it makes you feel any better, I have even had trouble fitting in the time for a shower more than once a week. Our wonderful, amazing, awesome family and friends have been coming over to watch Snooter a couple days a week so I can get the house cleaned, and you know, shower.  I’m about halfway there.
